We study virology with a focus on its connections to plant pathology and plant disease management. Our current research explores insect-specific viruses in the insect vector responsible for transmitting the bacterial pathogen that causes a devastating citrus disease. We also investigate plant viruses affecting grapevines, aiming to deepen our understanding of virus biology and contribute to the development of effective disease control strategies.
